Soiree 2010 is specially designed for harmonica enthusiasts and members of the general public. Soiree, which means an evening party in French, has presented many evenings of music and soul since its debut in 1988 by the NUS Harmonica Orchestra.

This year, from the engagement of world-class harmonica master Mr. Yasuo Watani to a series of renowned classical pieces like Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Johann Strauss' Voices of Spring and dramatic musical composition Bacchanale by Camille Saint-Saens, we promise you a thrilling journey into music!

Impressions 2009 by NUS Harmonica Orchestra has gone out of campus! This time, our performance is a definite must-see which features world renowned classical and contemporary folk songs, and is specially designed for harmonica enthusiasts and members of the general public who are looking for a thrilling journey into music.

The wonderful fusion of music with the culturally rich setting of Library@Esplanade will surely bring the audience a stimulating evening of music and art. Be indulged in the renowned folk songs presented by us!

Member Music Program 2

MMP 2 provides an opportunity for selected members to learn second instrument, for instance, chord, bass, horn, or percussion. It will be held on every Mondays before recess week at CFA. The 1st lesson has been started on 24 August 2009.

Music theory exam subsidy scheme new

There are altogether 7 undergrads and 1 alumnus taking the exam in this year.

For grade 3, there is $84 subsidy out of $104.
For grade 5, there is $101 subsidy out of $131. ($51 subsidy for the alumni)

Member Music Program 1

This is a harmonica music lesson for newcomers. Main tutor and several junior tutors will help you to master the basic chromatic harmonica playing skill.
